Established in 1833, the Lantian Academy was relocated to the present location in 1864. It is one of the 7 major historical relics in Nantou County and a third class national monument. The Lantian Academy boasts an abundant collection of historical artifacts, students often come here to study, in order to seek blessings and enjoy the cultural ambiance.
