The Craft Culture Hall is planned by the late landscape design maestro Yuyu Yang, co-designed by architect Peng Yin-hsuan of I.M Pei Architects and Cheng I-hsien of Chung Kuo Hsing Yeh Architects. The exterior consists of 4 large, oval shaped supporting columns and double cross as style symbol; the 4 story horizontal wall interlaces with the vertical columns to represent the pattern of interweaving lines. The hall systematically displays quality craft products from Taiwan and from abroad. Characteristics of the various types of craft cultures are also introduced; the hall is open for visit to domestic or international institutions and tourists.
