You may be dazzled by the endless array of stone sculptures and stone-carved art works along Chungtan Highway. The black bladder stone of Mei River in Puli is unattainable. To pick good stone, you must have good eyesight, physical strength, patience and luck. As it is always rainy in mountainous area, please do not go to pick stones in case of rain because of the unpredictable danger. [According to the government’s regulations, people are not allowed to pick any stone at a diameter of over 50cm; otherwise, it is regarded as a violation of law.]
