National Fonghuanggu Bird Park Situated in the Fonghuanggu Scenic Area, the National Fonghuanggu Bird Park is the first government funded bird park. The park is spacious with great views. It is home to hundreds of rare bird species from around the world. There is also a natural bird watching area, making the bird park a great recreational and educational facility. The park occupies roughly 30 hectares of land, breeding thousands of rare bird species from Taiwan and the rest of the world. The main objective of the park is to create an educational environment within a natural setting; through the concept of birds to expand the public’s knowledge of the wild birds in nature and environmental conservation.
