Shueli Station is the largest station on the Jiji branch line, it is also the only “convenient station” (with stationed personnel). Shuili Station was named Shuilikeng Stop, which was established in January 14, 1922; it was renamed Shuili Station in December 1, 1952, then renamed again in August 8. 1959 as Shuili Station. In January 1, 1966 it was downgraded as a 3rd class station, while it was renamed again in October 10, 1967 as Shuili Station. In November 1, 1989, it was changed to a convenient station. The station is located in an elevated location of the town (the steps in front of the station are rather unique); once stepping out of the station one can immediately observe the bustling scene of the billboard-filled street. In the station platform, the renowned Snake Kiln pottery urns with the station name engraved upon them are displayed, showing a genuine local character.
