Its name came from the roof of kiln by the shape of the Chinese Eight Diagrams. The Council for Cultural Affairs actively preserves this only remaining brick kiln in the Central region for its symbolic, cultural, sightseeing and educational purposes of kiln industry. It is truly the treasure of Nantou, as well as of our country.
