金明昌休閒農場是瑪陵農業休閒區內一個非常具有特色的休閒去處，園內養有水鹿及梅花鹿約50頭，係以採收鹿茸為主，每年約在清明節前後開始採收。但因近年來休閒風氣漸盛，在本著發展休閒農業的情況下，也在近年來陸續增添許多設備以及飼養許多動物，包括錦鯉、白鵝、黑天鵝、孔雀、火雞、番面紅鴨等，開放參觀，來到這裡讓人對台灣水鹿有更深一層的認識。
