興隆紡織廠成立於民國68年，從早期的傳統毛巾代工廠，轉型為毛巾觀光工廠。在2005年設計出蛋糕造型毛巾，並申請專利，是蛋糕毛巾的原創者。並於2008年成立毛巾觀光工廠，遊客可由落地窗參觀設計打版、選紗、前漂、經紗、漿紗、織造等完整的製作程序，同時工廠也開放學校戶外教學，讓小朋友認識國產高品質毛巾外，也可以做一個專屬自己的DIY毛巾蛋糕。本廠於2011年榮獲全台十大優良觀光工廠，同年開始於全台設立直營店面，為毛巾業中的創舉。
Shing-long Textile Factory was established in 1979. In early years, it was a traditional towel manufacturer, and then it was transformed into a towel industrial tourism factory. Towel cakes was originated and applied for the patent by Shing-long in 2005. In 2008, SL Towel Industrial Tourism & Explore Factory was founded. It opened for tourists and schools to visit and witness the manufacturing process. Tourists not only can have a deeper understanding about domestic high quality towels but also can make their own towel cakes through the DIY courses. We were awarded as top ten excellent tourism factories in 2011; in the same year, we set up regular chain stores in Taiwan, and it was a great beginning in towel industry then.
