桃米位於中潭公路旁的小山村。九二一地震後，桃米在政府、學界、社會、社區居民及非營利組織的跨界合作下，從豐沛的家園山水出發，循著教育學習—觀念改變—行動實踐的策略，朝向生態村的願景而努力。以懷著理念與探索，聆聽震後重建的社造歷程，追尋台灣農村轉型的軌跡，感受這片土地上人們的堅毅與活力，見學桃米將引領您深入大自然的寶庫，徜徉山林田野，並見證台灣鄉村的魅力！

Taomi is located in a small village next to Provincial Highway No. 21. After 921 Earthquake, Taomi has received support from the government, schools, society, residents in the communities, and non-profit organizations and endeavors to become an ecological village with its enriched natural resources. This education center is established for people to observe the history of this rebuilt community, discover the transition period of Taiwan's agricultural industry, and experience people's perseverance and energy on this land. Taomi will lead everyone to indulge in the charm of the farming village via its magnificent natural resources.

桃米は中潭公路そばの小さな山村。1999年の地震で大きな被害を受けた桃米の住民は、政府・学界・NPOの支援を受けてエコツーリズム・エコ教育の観念に基づく「生態村」の建設に取り組んできた。その生活圏再建の過程は、農村再生の模範となった。大自然の力を信じ、住む人々の活力を取り戻す営みは台湾の地方の誇りでもある。
