長濱鄉原名「加走灣」，阿美族語「瞭望」、「守望台」之意。有著濃厚的人情味、好吃的海鮮料理，難得品嚐的長濱米、還有古老的長濱遺址及自然而生的海蝕景觀，這就是長濱鄉迷人之處。
Originally called “pikakasawan”, which means “watch tower”, in Amis, Changbin has strong hospitality and great seafood. The delicious Changbin rice, the ancient Changbin historical site, and natural sea corrosion landforms together make the town a charming place.
「加走湾」と呼ばれていた長浜郷。アミ族の言葉で「見張り」、「見張り台」といった意味があります。真心たっぷりの美味しい海鮮料理や珍しい長浜米、また長浜遺跡や自然に浸食された海岸の風景が長浜郷の魅力です。
