本館座落於公館鄉內，面積約2公頃，設有苗栗陶瓷博物館、四方窯、苗栗窯、木炭窯、香茅油、苦茶油和樟腦油展示區，定位為苗栗陶瓷發展及傳統產業之展示館群，提供地方文化、傳統產業、特產、觀光休閒旅遊等綜合服務，帶動地方文化觀光產業發展。

With an area of about two hectares sitting in Gongguan Township, the park includes the Miaoli Ceramics Museum; the square kiln, Miaoli kiln, and charcoal kiln area; the lemon grass oil, tea oil camellia oil, and camphor oil making area; and the Traditional Industries Exhibition Area presenting the development of the ceramics industry and traditional industries in Miaoli. The park provides integrated services including local culture, traditional industries, local specialty products, tourism, leisure, and travel to promote the development of the local cultural tourism industry.
