大古山步道海拔有151公尺高，由於四周沒有任何建築物遮蔽及高山阻擋，可以遠眺淡水八里、竹圍漁港、機場、高鐵等地，是一個觀賞夜景的良好地方，也因為步道簡短，距離不長，很適合遊客來此地輕鬆健走，吸取芬多精。
Dagushan Trail is located at an elevation of 151 meters. With no building or mountains blocking the view, one can overlook Tamsui, Bali, Zhuwei Fishing Port, the airport, and the THSR, making it a great spot for night view. Also, the trail is short in distance, suitable for an easy hiking for phytoncide.
