Kaohsiung Lighthouse
民國前29年（西元1883年）設置的高雄燈塔，俗稱「旗后燈塔」，位於高雄市旗津區旗后山頂，其塔身則為台灣地區唯一的白色八角形磚造燈塔，頂部呈現圓筒形，可由燈塔陽台眺望高雄市全景。高雄港是台灣南部的主要門戶，因此興建高雄燈塔自有助於確保商船往返貿易的安全。已有一百多年歷史的高雄燈塔，不僅見證了高雄港篳路藍縷的開發過程，於二次大戰時雖曾遭受機槍掃射，惟並無損害，始終發光不輟。
