Jiading Wetland
茄萣濕地是日治時期開發六大鹽場中的烏樹林鹽場（高雄鹽場）的屬地，與四草鹽田、七股鹽田同為南台灣重要的曬鹽場，鹽田的規劃為方型的棋盤格式，筆直的分隔堤和運鹽道路形成特有的景觀。 究其歷史，是七七事變後，日本政府為了供應其本土工業用鹽需要，於1937年成立「南日本鹽業株式會社」，並在台灣布袋、七股、烏樹林等處，大量闢建生產工業用鹽之土盤鹽田。戰後，台鹽以人工生產不敷成本，陸續關閉所屬的鹽田，自此劃下了停止曬鹽的命運。 民國76年以開闢興達遠洋漁港之名售予高雄縣政府，竹滬二區挖深成港用於促進遠洋漁業發展，一區則成為二區海底泥的沉澱池，挖起的海底泥全被規劃堆於一區。竹滬一區也就為現今所稱的「茄萣濕地」。
