頭城濱海森林公園的前身為頭城海水浴場，是早年北台灣重要的戲水勝地，但因海岸遭到侵蝕，廣闊的沙灘逐漸流失，最終失去海水域場的功能。2015年宜蘭縣政府將頭城海水浴場改名為頭城濱海森林公園，開放陸域供遊客休憩，並禁止遊客戲水、游泳及從事水上活動。
Toucheng Seaside Forest Park, formerly known as the Toucheng Beach, was an important recreational beach in Northern Taiwan in the earlier times, but due to the erosion of the coast, the extensive sandy beach was gradually lost and eventually lost its function as a recreational beach. In 2015, the Yilan County Government renamed the Toucheng Beach as the Toucheng Seaside Forest Park, opening the land for visitors to relax. Please note that water activities, swimming, or engaging in water sports are prohibited.
