「井仔腳瓦盤鹽田」是北門的第一座鹽田，也是現存最古老的瓦盤鹽田遺址，清一色為瓦盤鹽田，呈現出馬賽克拼貼般的美麗藝術，後因人工成本過高的原因，於2002年結束了長達338年的曬鹽業，後來為延續鹽業文化而將鹽場復育。每日都有不同風貌的井仔腳鹽田夕陽，是來到台南濱海不可錯過的景點。
Jingzaijiao Salt Fields is the first and oldest surviving tile-paved salt field, featuring mosaic-like beauty. Due to high labor costs, the 338-year-long salt panning industry ended in 2002. The area was later restored to revive the local salt culture. The sunset over the salt fields at Jingzaijiau, which has a different look every day, is a must-see attraction when visiting Tainan's coastal area.
