北門區鯤江里是南鯤鯓代天府附近的小村落，50歲才開始作畫的洪通被當地人稱為朱豆叔仔，70年代名震台灣，也讓這裡有了東方畢卡索故鄉的美名。
村莊裡目前彩繪了許多洪通先生的畫作，村子裡有棟船型的紀念館(福慧壹號)，館內展示著幾幅洪通先生的複製畫。鯤江里蕭瑟的氛圍、靜謐的漁村景致，或許就是洪通先生創作的靈感來源，來到北門遊玩，台灣畢卡索的故鄉絕對值得一看。
Kunjiang Community is a small village near Nankunshen Temple in Beimen District. Local artist Hong Tong started painting in his 50s and was very influential in Taiwan in the 1970s, giving it the moniker “Hometown of Picasso of the East.” The village has many paintings by Mr. Hong Tong and there is a boat-shaped memorial hall, where several reproductions of Mr. Hong Tong's works are displayed.
