七股潟湖在當地俗稱「內海仔」，是300多年前的台江內海遺跡，到這裡遊玩，搭乘娛樂漁筏是體驗七股潟湖最好的方式，沿途滿是蚵棚、定置魚網，與悠哉乘著小舟的釣客，在潟湖周邊的紅樹林，滿是白鷺鷥與招潮蟹，還能看到特別的水鳥鸕鶿，飽覽豐富的潟湖生態。
The Qigu Lagoon is commonly referred to as "Neihai-zai" (inner sea) in the area, and is a remnant of the Taijiang Inner Sea more than 300 years ago. The best way to experience the lagoon is to ride a bamboo raft here, passing along oyster shacks, fixed fish nets and anglers. The mangrove forest around the lagoon is full of egrets and tidal crabs as well as rich lagoon ecology, such as cormorants.
