頂頭額沙洲緊鄰國聖燈塔，為一臨海沙洲，由台灣西部河川所沖積出來的砂土，經過台灣海峽海浪挾帶這些砂土，長年累月地堆積而漸漸露出海面所造成狹長型的沙洲，一片荒漠景觀在臺灣實在難得一見，也有人稱頂頭額沙洲為台灣版的撒哈拉沙漠。在此可欣賞沙洲景觀、濱海植物及順遊國聖港燈塔。
Dintouer Sandbank is a sandbank on the waterfront, which is formed by the sand and soil washed out by the rivers in western Taiwan and gradually accumulated over the years, resulting in a narrow sandbar. Here you can enjoy the sandbank landscape, which some call Taiwan’s “Sahara Desert”. Also don’t miss out on coastal plants and tour around the Guosheng Harbor Lighthouse.
