正統鹿耳門聖母廟主祀天上聖母，為安南區土城的信仰中心，整座廟宇仿造北京紫禁城的宮殿建築氣勢恢宏，享有遠東第一大廟的美譽。目前正統鹿耳門聖母廟最為有名活動的是元宵時的國際高空煙火秀，已成為台南元宵節的必備行程。
The temple is dedicated the goddess Mazu and is the center of faith in Tucheng, Annan District. The temple is modeled after the Forbidden City in Beijing and is known as the No. 1 temple in the Far East. The most famous event at the temple is the international fireworks display during the Lantern Festival, which has become a must-see highlight during the Tainan Lantern Festival.
