位於安平港國家歷史風景區內的觀夕平台是近年相當熱門的景點，三角形的平台與兩側的防風林營造出綠意盎然的景色，平台前就是湛藍的海洋美景，夕陽黃昏時天空雲彩變化是最多人佇足的時候。
觀夕平台的低光源走廊設計，讓這裡不僅白天可以欣賞海景，夜間光害少也讓天空中閃耀的點點星辰顯現出來，每當流星雨報到時也是熱門的觀星場所之一。
Located in the Anping Harbor National Historical Park, the Sunset Platform has become a popular attraction in recent years. The triangular-shaped platform and the windbreak forest on both sides create a lush green scenery, with a blue ocean view in front of the platform. At sunset, the clouds in the sky change at dusk. This place is also popular for stargazing when meteor showers are reported.
