大武崙白沙就位於基隆港西側,為漁港起至澳仔漁村間約5里長的海岸線,是基隆市轄區最長的天然沙岸。而大武崙白沙灘原本遍地礁岩石,沙灘地不多,但經基
隆市府除礁岩整地後,購買2、300萬元大陸沙填入築造300多尺的沙地,使白沙灘成了小型人工的海水浴,呈彎型的白,成為民眾日戲水的好去處,更可於海畔一覽日出日落的美景,或靜坐聆聽海浪,更一窺與城市生活截然不同漁村風情。由於大武崙白沙灘在灣澳內,另一側則是鬼斧神工般的單面山懸崖,位置得天獨厚風浪不大,安全性也高,每年夏天不但是基隆市民水的好地方,更吸引外地遊客湧入。
The only bathing beach in Keelung with precious white sand.It is a good place to watch the sunrise.It is face the sea with the hills for a background. The location is not windy and the safety is high. Every summer, it is not only a good place for Keelung citizens, but also attracts tourists from other counties and cities.
