日治時期興建的「阿根納造船廠」，為各鐵路支線的終點站，負責將金瓜石的金礦及其他礦物匯集後再運送到日本，當日治時期結束後租借給以建造遊艇為主的美國公司「阿根納造船」。雖然現在已經荒廢，但此地仍以此為名，因裸露的鋼筋水泥很有現代頹廢風格，成為民眾拍照留念的著名景點，連拍攝著名電影“美國隊長”好萊塢明星克里斯·伊凡（Chris Evans）都曾來此拍攝廣告取景。而目前內部禁止參觀，僅供外圍觀賞。
