處於基隆嶼正北面山壁下方，釣位上方海蝕洞穴是白腹鰹鳥棲息地，每日清晨五點會成群飛出外覓食，黃昏時陸續飛回巢穴棲息，礁邊水深介於十三至二十米，岩根下方海面下有一內凹，掠食型大型魚類易躲藏於此，石鯛科魚種（橫帶石鯛））、鮨科（點帶石斑、橫帶石斑），礁岩前方十米處是三線磯鱸（黃雞）、覓食區。
