位處基隆嶼北偏西北面，登礁處位於西面靠近基隆嶼西面本嶼處，礁石和本嶼天然形成一船溝，遮風避浪方便船舶進入渡礁，大乞礁石凸岬面向正北，易受東北、正北浪襲擊，礁石下海底礁石林立，魚種多為瓜子?（黑毛）、三線磯鱸（黃雞），每年冬季十二月初至一月底，是外礁磯釣一級釣點。
Located in the north-northwest of Keelung Islet, it is a first-level fishing spot for outer reefs from the beginning of December to the end of January every winter.
