福隆沙灘，是個即使沒有去過也一定聽過的景點！你可能不知道的是，早在日據時代開始，他就已經是個相當知名的海水浴場，穿梭歷史百年後至今仍熱鬧非凡。雙溪河在此入海，使得這片金黃色沙灘被太平洋及雙溪河前後簇擁著，形成內河外海，獨一無二的雙重景觀，再加上一片湛藍海景，有黃金海岸之美譽。連接兩處的彎月型拱橋則有個很美的名字-「彩虹橋」，引領遊客前往這片夏日聖地，而除了碧海藍天的海灣風光，因這裡河面寬廣，水流平穩，無論是風帆、獨木舟或是衝浪等水上活動都非常適合，愛好水上運動的你千萬不要錯過。
夏天是這裡最精彩的季節，每年的「福隆國際沙雕藝術季」，邀請來自不同國家的沙雕藝術家在此精雕細琢，雕出座座令人嘆為觀止的藝術作品，適合全家大小一起共遊觀賞；接續則是貢寮國際海洋音樂祭，吸引國內外熱愛音樂、熱愛大海的人前來朝聖狂歡，可說是夏日最狂的海洋音樂祭典，也讓海水浴場充滿青春與活力！
Since the Japanese Occupation, Fulong has been a famous beach. And today, it is still a lively place. For their beautiful views, Fulong’s coasts are hailed as “golden coasts,” while its crescent-shaped bridge across the coasts is praised as the “rainbow bridge.” The river nearby is wide and smooth, suitable for sailing, canoeing and surfing.
For the annually-held Fulong International Sand Sculpture Festival, sand artists from around the world make fine sculptures on Fulong Beach. The artworks are awe-inspiring and visitors, young and old, are encouraged to appreciate them. HO-HAI-YAN Gongliao Rock Festival draws those passionately in love with music and oceans to take part, filling Fulong Beach with endless youthful energy.
